Eagle No 1 July/August 1996 cover

The Eagle No 1 cover, July/August 1996, is a solo Jack Fritscher photograph of Donnie Russo with a goatee, in black leather against a Parthenon frieze. Eight more Fritscher photographs, shot in September 1995 for John Stevens’ Close-up Productions, ran inside the issue, edited by Bob Fifield for The Leather Journal.

Use of photographs was not credited in issue #1 where the photographs were published, but Leather Journal publisher David Rhodes, upon notification, immediately published the correct credits in Eagle #3.
