Jack Fritscher has been writing and publishing gay erotic fiction for more than 30 years. Jack Fritscher is the founding San Francisco editor-in-chief of Drummer magazine. He is the author of the novels Some Dance to Remember, its prequel, What They Did to the Kid, which was chosen as one of the top 1- books of the year at the 2002 Book Expo and was a 2002 ForeWord magazine Book of the Year finalist for fiction, and Leather Blues. He has also penned four volumes of erotic short fiction, the biography Mapplethorpe Assault with a Deadly Camera, and numerous other books. He has adapted many of his stories into the 130 erotic video he has directed for Palm Drive Video. His short fiction and essays have appeared in more than a dozen anthologies.
