Jack Fritscher, PhD is an award-winning American author, photographer, videographer, and historian specializing in gay popular culture and LGBTQ literary history. As the founding San Francisco editor of Drummer magazine and the author of more than 25 books spanning fiction, non-fiction, and anthologies, Fritscher has documented gay culture as a firsthand witness and participant for more than six decades.
